• reviewing the map on P. 99 and identifying which Nations belonged to which region of Alberta.

Explain how natural resources help communities be successful by:
• reviewing the diagram on P. 103 to list what parts of the buffalo were used and why.
Share how stories show that First Nations people feel a strong connection to the land by:
• Reviewing, listing and describing all of the natural resources used by the First Nations for transportation, food, shelter and tools. Use your blue “Connections to the Land” sheet and re-read pages 101 – 109.
