I hope everyone had a relaxing, fun-filled Thanksgiving weekend. I was very proud of how the Grade 4 class behaved and did their part to make our Thanksgiving celebration so special last Friday.
This week is a short week. We will NOT do a spelling unit this week. We will be finishing some basic testing for planning purposes. We also began our Roots of Empathy program as part of our Health today. This program runs once a week until May. The baby who will be visiting our class is named Liam. Please send your completed consent form for the program as soon as possible.
Tomorrow (Oct. 12) we will have SCHOOL PICTURES. A different system is being used this year in that a picture proof will be sent home with the package ordering. Tomorrow is also when the Science in Motion group will be coming to our school. At 9:00 a.m., there is a presentation for all school grades. At 2:00. the Grade 4 class will have their our presentation (perhaps in the Band Room).
Friday is Toonie Loonie Lunch for those who ordered. Friday is also when October book orders are due.
Please make sure that gym clothes and clean running shoes are available for each gym class. We have gym every day except Monday. Also some students have forgotten their library books at home. Please try to remember to bring your library books for each Wednesday.
Also a reminder that Monday, October 16th is a district P.D. Day so there is no school for students on that day.
